Welcome to my 1000 post giveaway thread!

Here i will show some stuff that i will give away (shipping included) to members of the forum who joined on or before 19:11:16.

This post will be edited from time to time with progress updates and whatever else i decide really :wink:

This giveaway is still in the making so if you want to be in, post what you would like to win.

One post per member counts and one item only per person but you can edit your post if you like as there will likely be more items added later on that you may prefer, probably a couple of my used lights and maybe a knife or two.

First up we have a little prototype light that i am making myself for someone to win.
It is completely hand made so won’t be perfect but it should end up pretty cool and could be worth a lot of money one day, you never know… :laughing:

The plan…

This will be a carbon fibre sheathed reflectored brass flashlight with a Cree XP-L HI V2 1A emitter on copper DTP sinkpad driven by a MTN 10mm FET with guppydrv Rev.1, powered by a 10440 cell with soldered copper heatsink and ARC glass. It will have a tail forward clicky switch unfortunately/ fortunately depending on your preference and a magnetic removable battery carrier and rubber switch boot.
I am not totally sure how this light will be when finished as decisions are made during the building.

Ordered a Meteor so don’t need this :wink:
This is one of the older ones from CNQG, about 4 years old or so, used, few dings, 3x XM-L T6 3C on Noctigons with Star firmware SRK 32x 7135 Driver in screw in pill, Illuminated switch and green tritium vial. Intermittent lockout due to ano thread wear. Might suit someone who has never had one.

Wait, why a dead primary cell? If you’re gonna shoot something/someone with a chemical cell, it might as well be a live Li-Ion cell! Perhaps, even an Ultrafire! :stuck_out_tongue:
Edit: That’s a great looking light you’re building. I have enjoyed watching all of your builds in the contest and your other projects as well. I’d like to be counted in your Giveaway. But I don’t want your cool new light because I don’t care for forward clickies. So, if I win I’d like the black SRK. Thanks!

Imperfect is not necessarily bad. In this case it’s more like a personal marking of the maker rather than imperfection :smiley:
