Absolutely. Just let other people to their thing, that’s important. @raccoon You can also post some nice lookin men, if you want, especially those wearing suits, really cool
A lot of “celebrities” are famous, but to me are kinda mid. Pretty? Yeah, okay, but not what I’d call stunning.
Practically everything I’ve seen Sherry Jackson in, she’s just been incredibly hawt. Perfect features, incredible figure, just all around hawtness.
Same for Chelah Horsdal, Ona Grauer, lots of other not-quite-household-names but still incredibly memorable. Well, to me, at least.
I could probably dig though the dark recesses of my brain to come up with lots more examples.
Dunno many suit-guys, but on teevee, guys who were always smart dressers were Anthony Dennison, Robert Gossett, and Dennis Farina. Other characters in their respective shows (“The Closer”, and “Law & Order”) were just guys who had to wear a suit every day, but these were always incredibly color-coordinated and, well, stylish.
You won’t see that, because people often vote by simply not hanging out here, or not posting. And I don’t blame them. Look at some of the hostile reactions to my post that accuse me of being against any and all efforts to welcome new members and recommending that I be told to “f—- off.”
The reason I don’t visit BLF much anymore and hesitate to post is this dishonest bullying and enforcement of the viewpoints of a privileged group - not to mention the misogyny.
Had to look that one up. So true what you wrote. I would not mind seeing more of her here.
There are some women in this section I could do without, but that’s a matter of personal preference.
All in all I would say: keep up the good work @raccoon
Faye Dunaway?
Yeh, most people remember her from Star Track as Andrea from “What Are Little Grils Made Of?”
But she was on “Lost In Space” (“The Space Croppers”), at least one ep of “Twilight Zone” with James Best (the Jeff Myrtlebank ep or whatever) which was pretty funny, and a few other goodies.
An absolute stunner, if you ask me…
AMEN !!
As I shake my head with incredulity… Interesting how some folks can twist things in the interest of making sure their feelings get hurt.
Telling you or anyone else to f… off is going to far as is the stuff on dishonest bullying etc. (what would ‘honest’ bullying look like anyway?)
One of the reasons I do come here often is because of the almost complete lack of any of that stuff here - thanks no doubt in part to sb’s moderation - and the folks themselves here as well as their expert knowledge.
Interesting also how some folks consistently twist things to make false statements about the thoughts or feelings of others and blame others for their own behavior.
Just stop. No one is a victim (nor are they, due to and by your proxy, faux heroism) for looking at pictures of beautiful women.
…and an incredible actress.
That V’ger ep, “Infinite Regress”, where she has all those multiple personalities resurfacing after getting too too close to a Borg doodad, and takes on all of them incredibly well to begin with (especially the Ferengi!), but then near the end when she’s flying through one personality after another at lightning speed and not missing a beat, was jaw-dropping. First time I saw that, I was like “Whoa!”.
And I think she looked incredibly hawt in “Picard”, even that many years older than she was in V’ger. Definitely a fine wine…
I might be accused of being a misogynist and a misandrist (man-hater).
I’m thinking about creating greeting pics with men to complement the greeting pics with women.
(What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.)
See this thread for the discussion:
I currently greet some newbies with a pic of an attractive woman. What if instead I used a non-offensive, but possibly creepy, pic from a horror movie? Which do you like more? poll
I guess I hate raccoons, too, because my avatar features a pic of a raccoon.
rant
Really, no matter what anyone chooses to do, someone will be able to think of a way to criticize it, and they frequently don’t care how incredibly weak their argument is.
It’s like they subscribe to the “throw anything against the wall and see what sticks” mentality that infects humanity like the plague.

By the way, this post is not directed at anyone in particular but at an attitude in general that I have observed.
Just stop. No one is a victim (nor are they, due to and by your proxy, faux heroism) for looking at pictures of beautiful women.
Just stop making false statements about what I’ve said. The real issue I brought up is about treating women and other forum members with respect, as required by the forum rules. The fact that my idea of respectful behavior differs from others’ ideas is not a justification to violate the forum rules and tell me or others to f—- off. Or to make up nonsense allegations about what I’ve supposedly said.
If you or others want to continue to encourage the behavior I was talking about, and bullying people who disagree with you on one issue or another, you’re apparently free to do that here. I won’t be here to experience it, though, and neither will many women who will choose (like me) to spend their time elsewhere in the future.
GM, Your point of view is counted.

I’m reasonably sure if someone were to greet newcomers with pictures of very sex men with bulging underpants only some people here would throw a fit.
So let’s just not go there and keep it flashlight related perhaps?
This is going to end well.
See a Big Masterlock symbol coming in hot.
