Brief summary of builds:

MtnDon created a cordless table lamp constructed of various types of wood.
GorgTech engineered a light with a 3d printed enclosure.
Koef3 fabricated a light from brass fittings and made it shine.
Hunter-Jackson took a Klarus XT2C and gave it some major upgrades.
saltyboi6704 overhauled an Energizer “Stranger Things” vintage styled flashlight.
Tomogchi created and tested several joule thief circuits and then made a light using the best one.
Skylight overhauled a 4x18650 light with new optic, LEDs, and driver.
YBF650 made a triple channel RGB D1K using mostly off-the-shelf parts.
YuvalS made an 18650 rear clicky light by means of wire wrap construction.
Scallywag gave a Manker E05 Ti a new driver, a Nichia 519A LED, and wire brushed the head.

Surprising especially as required effort is close to zero and it was really fun following the processes of all these builds
