Sanyo 3.7V 2800MAH -> US$21.93/4 pcs or US$5.79/1 piece

Do these charge to 4.2 or 4.35 volts?

Good catch!

BLF is very liberal and self moderated, so it would be in your best interest to start off on the right foot. Smile

4.2V I believe! If they were Samsung cells I would be more on 4.35V side but Sanyo…

Well right down that list the UR18650ZT’s are advertised and those are 4.3v cells. I think the question is wether or not these are protected versions of those cells.

They’re with cheap PCB, that’s why they’re 4.2V. If they were unprotected according datashit they should be charged to 4.3V

4.35 if you want 2800mah.

But if they are 4.35, but have protection to 4.2, then a 4.35 charger would still not get them to 4.35.. is this correct? I know Fasttech has two versions both with same number, but one says 4.2 and one says 4.3. Unless the PCB is different on the 4.3 version, I don’t understand how they can be different. And don’t know how one would tell them apart if you had both versions.

Don’t know what the cutoff is on the PCB. Most chargers cutoff at 4.2 unless you are going to use a hobby charger so I wouldn’t buy them. I bought some from FT before I realized they needed 4.35 to get to the full capacity of 2800mah. Don’t know what the PCB cutoff is because my chargers cutoff at 4.2. Have a hobby charger but it’s a heck if a lot easier to pop them in a regular charger, not worth the hassle, just buy different batteries.

I happen to have some of them,,, I tried different batteries in some of my lights and found they are longer than my 3400 Panasonics, so I will be sticking with the Panasonics.

Many don’t appreciate members who plaster aff links especially when two posts out of their three total ones are aff links.

You’ve been a member of BLF 8 days short of a year, so please join in with the crowd and add to the discussion before wanting others to click on your aff links.

Depends on if you buy stuff or not. I bought a pair of NCR18650B’s I really don’t need, could have been worse I suppose. Oops

The site shows CW and NW, but can’t find where to make the choice. If they only have one choice, does anyone know which it comes in?

Would it be possible to rebuild the carrier to run all four batteries in parallel?

Working voltage: 3~6V

I’d like to run 4 × 14500’s in it.

You can tell if it’s an affiliate link if you move your mouse over the link and look at the url.

http://www.banggood.com/Sunwayman-D40A-CREE-XM-L2-980-Lumen-LED-Flahslight-4xAA-p-87386.html?p=ZZ2317254917312414AA

(that’s a fake affiliate code btw).

Everything after the .html is the affiliate code (so in the above link, the ?p=ZZ2317254917312414AA is the affiliate code). The person posting their affiliate link gets paid if you purchase a product using their affiliate code link.

The reason why most forums ban affiliate links is because it makes people just keep posting nonsense links over and over just cluttering up the forum with useless crap.

If you see a link to a product, and it has the ?p=ZF9873498 code at the end, just right click on it, “copy shortcut”, then paste it in the address box of your browser, and remove everything after the .html before pressing enter Wink voila, product page with no affiliate payout.
