Yea, you need to. anyone who loves a D4, is doing a TRUE DISERVICE to themselves if they haven't ordered a dt8 yet. Im considering selling all of my aluminum d4's to buy dt8's. Lol

Would be better if they offer their KR4 lights with variable color temperature

Hank,

Would it be possible for Emisar to produce a pocket clip for the D4Sv2 ??

Im thinking just a larger version of the existing design for the Emisar D4v2, that will fit on the D4S.

(Maybe if it sat a little deeper in the pocket, that would be nice).

I know there are people on multiple forums who modify other companies pocket clips to fit this light, and i recently did and it works out only OK..

Thanks for the consideration!

-Artie

Guys does anyone know how much amps KR1 XPL-HI draw on high and on turbo?

I just got KR1 2800K xpl-hi but with freshly charged VTC6 turbo does not bump as my FW1A does...

I think the FET is disabled so it should be 5A, in the FW1A in direct drive it might pull a litle bit more, plus the 2800K 80CRI(?) has a lower flux.

Thx Freeman. But shouldn’t it be safe above 5A for xpl-hi? Anyhow, i hope my plan for KR1 will come true...

I am temped, believe me. But those are just two LED choices I wouldn’t choose. 1A is way too cool for me, and I already have a warm D4S. It would have to be E21 for me to get another warm one

Hank, I would be very interested in buying just the discounted D4S if that is possible. PM sent.

Or if not then would anyone in the EU like the D4V2? I could send it to the EU for about £10 or UK a bit cheaper if we split the cost.

I ordered both in the end, as you can’t go wrong with a light from Hank.

I was mainly after the D4S, so if anyone in the UK/EU would like the D4V2 with the extras for the 50% + shipping then let me know. About €41 total to EU or £30 to UK.

Yes, there was US warehouse before, but lately it’s closed due to the expensive shipping fee

Just got some limited quantity Nichia 219B, R9080, 3500K & 4500K LEDs in stock.

Great. Can we order the same way as usual? (Buy the light and then send you a mail asking for 219B instead of the purchased version?) Any surcharges or can we choose the cheapest emitter option?

I assume FET lights don’t suit? Better choose lights with 5A or 8A constant current driver?

Yes, there will be 219B options for the lights we sell, we will use the firmware to limit the current.

Will you be using the standard driver, with the TK 219 firmware? That is what I have done to your lights I have modded with 219b and they work very well.

I have modded a D4V2 Ti with sw45k and another with sw30 and I absolutely love them. Whoever doesn’t have one should jump at this opportunity.

Sorry for being so inquisitive. Can I order DT8 with 219B SW45K choosing another emitter from your website? Or better wait for your website to be updated?

What is the difference between Azhu’s SW35 – D180 Bin vs Hank’s SW35 D200 Bin? Which one would be rosier?

D200 is brighter than D180. But I am sure Andy’s sw35 are D200 too. His sw30 are D180.

Could anybody please advise with the knowledge they have on sw35 and sw45 which one may be rosier? I'm leaning heavily toward 3500, bmjusg because I prefer a warmer color more, but if one is rosier than the other that would take precedence for me.

thanks!
