Yeeeees, a xhp35 S2 would be an awesome idea as well, even better than running a xhp50.
I wouldn’t complain about this option as well.
Xhp35s are awesome. I always wondered why they are not more popular, the xhp35 m21b sold out and never made a comeback.
If I could choose between a boost driver for S2s I would go for something to push a xhp35.2hi instead of the 6v for a xhp50.
But im getting whichever you make, I just need something special for my copper hosts : )
By the way Simon, I received my S2s and daaaamn I am blown away by the orange anodizing, wasn’t expecting it.
Thank you for that ; )

Apparently everything just Legos and works fine so threads are compatible
Thank you for pictures.
Judging by orange and silver S2+ I would say it’s new style thread.

Speaking of copper s2s, does anyone know if these have any sort of transparent coating/varnish on them? Because they don’t feel like I’m touching the bare metal, it feels kinda smooth to the touch as if they had a clear coat covering them or a really thick oil layer.
I’m just curious.

Yes, the surface is treated, otherwise it is prone to blackening
@Simon, any idea when the SFT40 5000-5700K and the new 17mm 6V boost driver will be available?
LUMINUS may not produce 5000-5700k sft40,
I got 17mm 6V 4A driver sample , But I’m not sure which LED to apply it to, what about XHP50.3 HI ?
I think XHP50.3-HI is an excellent choice. Will you stock it in multiple CCT’s? I would love to install it in a C8+ in 4000K.
I don’t know why XHP50.3 XHP70.3 has been on the market for so long, but we can only buy white light.
Simon, there are versions of the 5700K XHP50.3 and XHP70.3, with 95+ CRI and 95+ TLCI(Television Lighting Consistency Index). Are those available to you?
They are specially made for broadcast use, thus would probably be of interest for the many photography and video users of your products.
12V ? 17mm 12V for XHP35?
pls check if you visit following links

Well, that’s not bad

Anybody know how many amps the GT FC40 driver is on Simon's store? Im looking at the version for the L6.
Also, does it fit in the L7 host? Or is there a GT FC40 driver specifically for the L7?

Very happy with my copper Convoys! Glad I asked you about them.
Surprisingly, I think I like the smooth version better than the checkered texture. Both are great though.
Thank you Simon for making them available again.
I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.
Is that new copper S2+ with old or new threads?
Can anyone check?

Hi Simon
When 3×21a driver 30A and 80A available for sale ?
Aliexpress etc still take around 5-7 days to review Simon’s EPR application, after that everything should show up
I tried to upload the picture directly but I failed successfully.

Besides the spring, what other differences are there between the new version and the old version of the 8A driver?
Yes confirmed, the newer ”square” threads, including the brass pill.

CREE does not produce XHP35 HI any more
This should be my shop’s EPR certification is still under review.
Sorry, I don’t have that plan because CREE no longer produces the XHP35 HI and the XHP35.2 HI doesn’t work well.
4A for GT FC40 in L6
FC40 is not suitable for L7
you reversed the middle tube of the smooth version
rectangular thread
That could still be several months before it goes on sale.
I have XHP35.2 in S21B and it works ok.

Very observant Simon!
They’re both all taken apart now being modded. Triple dedomed 519As with custom lighted switches.
