Be happy and hope for the best.

Or stick your fingers in your ears and say la la la until you go to sleep.

Are you in this game still, because I’m not, there is only so much messing about, up with which I am not prepared to put ?

Are you on the list for this one, I took a quick look but didn’t see you.

PS: what is it with all the knives in your signature ? I mean, really, it’s actually quite offensive. Think about that.

All meant kindly, but really, get a grip.

Lol, if you are offended by knives, you must be rendered speechless by gasp a hunting rifle. Anyway, as for pulling out, I might or might not. If it’s any good when it finally comes out in 3000 years, I might act on my interest. If not, I won’t.

No need to pull out as yet, although I would be incredibly interested to see just what has been going on that has taken up all the time it would take to either post some impressions of the latest prototype or to send one of them to someone who would be happy to, like someone who has had a previous version for awhile, has been active on this thread…

You could not imagine how wrong you are about that. But we don’t talk about these things in public.

Those who do, generally get crucified, but if it promotes their you tube and other outlets, they just don’t care. Happened this week with Larysa Switlyk in the UK. She’s taking a two week break from media until the opprobrium dies down.

I disapprove of what she does, by the way, it is unnecessary.

Meanwhile I’ll carrying on doing what I do and not talking about it.

I unsubscribed to this thread months ago because of the fighting over tints and emitters. Now I see Lord Of The Onion Rings has got it all fired up over something that nobody has even paid for yet. Genius.

Vaporware? Maybe. Might be worth the wait though. Guess we shall see.

FWIW, Neal is trying to make this happen quickly. If I understand correctly, things are just waiting on Fritz to make some minor host adjustments and then I think it’s supposed to be ready for production.

It’s just a bit difficult to get in touch with Fritz lately. Last I heard, he kinda just stopped in the middle of a

“We don’t talk about these things in public”? Well, if it weren’t seeming likely to go too far off topic, we might talk about the idea that killing something to eat is shameful compared to having someone else do it for you, or that it’s not as humane overall compared to how modern meat is farmed. But I think i’d best not fan any potential flames that aren’t just about the actual light. If you do have a reply, maybe another thread or PM? I’d probably better be off, but I’ll check back.

Oh well, wherever and whenever there is Tom Tom, you can bet your bottom dollar it’s just a matter of time, and posts, that things are going to get messy, as he stirs the pot the wrong way.

With all due respect to the team in charge of this project… the project management on this one is shit.
Why don’t you send the prototype to TK instead of a ghost ?
How one doesn’t have an ounce of respect to not crash by this thread and give us his impression about the last proto ?
I know we’re on the Internet and human interactions are somewhat biased, but would you let thousand of people in the silence while YOU can finally enjoy a nearly finished product that they are waiting for ?
Come on, it takes 5min to snap a couple of pix and share your overall impressions about it !

It seems some here are not equipped for the stress, waiting, etc.. associated with a Group Buy/project light.

My suggestion is to forget about this project and maybe buy it retail if you still want it.

You will be much happier.

I thought I was the only one… except for Tom Tom.
He might have some rude words and acting a bit like a troll, I get what he says.
I mean, it’s been more than a year now… it’s supposed to be a novelty item and will be obsolete before we’ll be able to buy it Facepalm
How does Emisar launch such quality lights 4 times a year and Lumintop doesn’t manage to finish this simple project ?
Do not throw mechanical arguments to my face and re-type things like “ther’s some tight tolerances, and they have to find a way to insulate the inner tube…” come on, it’s just basic mechanics…
I’m a prototype engineer, it’s my job to test and try new techs… so quit the bullsh*t and make it done.

If this project has a happy ending, I will own a fantastic beautiful little light.
If not, I have the thought that it may have cost me a bit of a dream, but certainly no money.
Don’t rush things. Better safe than sorry. One Cometa is enough.

If this project just keeps on moving forward, chances are that it will be finished in my lifetime. Party

You are a flashaholic if you are forced to come out of the closet, to make room for more flashlights.

The FW3A seems to have been put on the back burner while Lumintop focused on a lot of their other projects. S#!+ Stuff happens. ¯\_(ツ)_/ ¯

Lumintop is waiting on Fritz, they’re ready to produce the light with a minor adjustment to a dimension.

It has nothing to do with stress or lack of patience as far as I am concerned.

From what we have been told, IIRC; Lumintop is ready to go on this…. so why blame them. They appear to be waiting on final approval of the last 2 prototypes sent out & received a few seeks ago.

We were told that Neal sent a prototype to two guys. They received them weeks ago and we have heard nothing at all from those two guys about the light.

This is what X3 was saying I think. How long does it take to post a couple of pictures & at least some first impressions?? Answer = Not very long at all.

If they are not going to do it, send the light to TK; I am 99.9999999% positive she will do it….. and do it in a timely manner.

Again…. this has nothing to do with lack of patience on the supporters of this light or with Lumintop.

It has a lot to do with two guys, apparently; drag arsing around and not communicating and/or giving the final thumbs up or thumbs down so production can start or changes be made.
